HOW TO ARRIVE TO GRANADA
PLAIN Location: The airport is located 17 km to the west of the city (37º 11´19´´ N, 3º 46´38´´ W) at an altitude of 567m. It is reached by motorway A-92. It occupies an area of 183 Ha, of which 33,800 m ² are constructed or paved. Runways: The runway measures 2,900 by 45 m. It has two starting areas, both of which are linked. It also currently has a taxiing runway that is parallel to the take-off strip and with access to the apron. Aircraft parking: The apron has a surface area of 96,592 m ² and can hold 13 passenger crafts the size of an Airbus-320 or B-757, as well as seven small aircraft measuring between 15 and 20m. Terminal Building : The terminal measures 4.600 m ² and can serve up to 600passegenrs/hour in arrivals and 550/hour in departures. There are two arrivals areas and three boarding gates; a VIP room and a general use room, a bar-restaurant and a shop. The other buildings comprising the airport facilities include: a technical annex measuring 1.500 m ² which houses the authorities and Aena administrative offices, control tower, electrical plant, firefighting services, centro de emisores, merchandise warehouse, automobile workshop, general use workshop and CLH facilities. Car park: The car park has 347 spaces, 12 of which are reserved for the handicapped, as well as 62 spaces for rental vehicles, 40 spaces for the personnel of Aena, 20 for visitors and 4 for buses. TRAIN How to go to Granada : -From Barcelona : The journey is during the night and it takes 12 hours. You can rent a bed or a couchette. -From Madrid : It takes a lot of hours, is better to take the bus. -From Seville : It takes three hours and is a comfortable journey. Information

BUS
Granada has a Bus Station situated in Carretera de Jaén in the entrance of the city. You can consult the timetable, fares and destinations in: www.alsinagraells.es . You have the possibility to book your ticket by telephone and collect it 45 minutes before the departure of your bus. Outside the Bus Station there is a taxi rank and an urbane bus stop. (You can take the number 3 or 33 to go to the city centre.) -From Madrid : The Bus Station is in the Estación Sur. You can take the metro in the stop “Méndez Álvaro” to the Estación Sur. You have a bus each hour. You have to buy the ticket in the Station; the name of the window is Enatcar or Bacoma. It is 5 hours from Madrid to Granada and it cost around 13 €.
